About Us

The Inner North Netball Club (INNC) was launched in 2013.  We are a community run sporting club, providing children and adults from the inner north area of Canberra with an opportunity to play a team based sport, promoting fun and fitness. We encourage fair play and team work as well as skills development and inspire competitiveness.

 

The club participates in the North Canberra Netball Competition (NCNC) fielding teams in 5 categories:

 

  • Seniors -for female players 16 years+ (including women) 

  • Cadets – for female players 16 -18 years in the year of play who are attending high school in Years 10 to 12

  • Mixed Cadets – for both female and male players turning 16 -18 years in the year of play who are                                               attending high school in Years 10 to 12

  • Intermediates – for female players turning 13 – 15 years in the year of play

  • Mixed Intermediates - for both female and male players turning 13 - 15 years in the year of play

  • Juniors - for both female and male players turning 11 - 12 years in the year of play

  • Set (modified) - for both female and male players turning 8 - 10 in year of play

 

The membership areas for the Inner North Netball Club includes but is not limited to; Acton, Ainslie, ANU, Braddon, Campbell, Canberra City, Dickson, Downer, Hackett, Lyneham, Majura, New Acton, North Lyneham, O’Connor, Parkes, Reid, Russell, Turner, Watson and students attending all schools in these areas; i.e. Ainslie, Ainslie North, Campbell,  Lyneham, Majura, Maribyrnong, Turner, St Joseph's, and St Thomas More's Primary Schools and Emmaus Christian School; Campbell and Lyneham High Schools and Dickson College.
